Job Description

As a General and Operations Manager at ForseMark,LLC, you will
be at the forefront of our organization's operations, overseeing all
aspects of our manufacturing processes and ensuring operational efficiency.

Your role is pivotal in driving growth, managing resources, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities


Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
  • Align operational strategies with overall business goals, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Monitor industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

Operational Oversight:

  • Direct and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all departments.
  • Implement best practices and procedures to optimize production processes, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, taking corrective actions as needed.

Resource Management:

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, equipment, and facilities.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure adequate staffing levels and proper training for employees.
  • Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitability.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement quality assurance programs, inspections, and audits to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Analyze quality data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Supply Chain and Inventory Management:

  • Oversee procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory levels to meet production demands.
  • Develop and maintain efficient supply chain processes, including logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Manage inventory control systems to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Promote a culture of safety and awareness among employees, conducting regular safety training and inspections.
  • Work closely with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and address any issues proactively.

Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the Financial Manager to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Review financial reports, P&L statements, and budgetary allocations to make informed decisions.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of department managers and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to support professional growth.
  • Promote cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement.

Customer Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a General or Operations Manager in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and lean principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems, supply chain management, and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of LEAN management principles is a positive.
