Job Description
Weighers, Measurers, Checkers, and Samplers, focused on Recordkeeping
at ForseMark, are entrusted with the crucial responsibility of accurately
weighing, measuring, checking, and recording materials, products,
and containers. They play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity
of inventory data, quality control, and compliance with specifications.

Typical Duties
- Weigh materials, products, or containers using scales, balances, or
other measuring equipment.
- Measure dimensions, volumes, and other physical attributes of materials
and products.
- Check products for defects, damage, or deviations from specifications.
- Ensure proper labeling, coding, and identification of materials and
products.
- Sample materials for testing, following established sampling procedures.
- Record weights, measurements, quantities, and inspection results accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing materials, products,
and containers.
- Verify and update inventory counts, stock levels, and locations.
- Compare recorded data with specifications, work orders, or shipping
documents.
- Identify discrepancies, non-conforming items, or quality issues and
report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in conducting inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation
of discrepancies.
- Prepare reports, charts, and graphs to summarize data and trends.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and quality control teams
to ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
in all recordkeeping activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
- Duties may vary based on the types of materials, products, and inventory
management systems used within the company.
Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification
in recordkeeping or inventory management is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Weigher, Measurer, Checker, Sampler, or similar
role in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of weighing, measuring, and recording techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and
computerized recordkeeping.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data and conducting
checks.
- Analytical skills to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential
issues.
- Proficiency in basic math for calculations, measurements, and conversions.
- Effective communication skills to report findings, collaborate with
team members, and follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize
tasks.
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during weighing
and measuring activities.
- Commitment to quality, reliability, and maintaining data integrity.
