Job Description Security Guards (Armed) at ForseMark play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the company's premises, employees, and assets. They are responsible for patrolling, monitoring, and responding to potential security threats to maintain a secure environment.

Typical Duties

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicles to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems for any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Conduct regular security checks of buildings, facilities, and grounds to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, violence, or rule infractions.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations in a prompt and professional manner.
• Investigate and report any security incidents, accidents, or unusual activities to supervisors or authorities.
• Provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity and promote a sense of safety among employees and visitors.
• Conduct searches of individuals, vehicles, or belongings as required by company policy or security protocols.
• Escort employees, visitors, or contractors to designated areas and ensure their safety.
• Assist in the evacuation of buildings during emergencies and provide crowd control as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of security incidents, patrols, and activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies or emergency responders when necessary.
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Participate in training sessions on security procedures, emergency response, and use of force protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information and security matters.
• Duties may vary based on specific security needs and protocols within the company.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security or law enforcement preferred.
  
• Valid state-issued armed security guard license and firearms permit.
  
• Previous experience as a security guard, law enforcement officer, or military service with relevant training.
  
• Proficiency in handling and operating firearms safely and responsibly.
  
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and emergency response tactics.
  
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, alarms, and access control technologies.
  
• Strong communication skills to interact with employees, visitors, and law enforcement officials.
  
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations.
  
• Physical fitness and agility to perform patrols, respond to incidents, and stand for extended periods.
  
• Attention to detail and observation skills to detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
  
• Problem-solving abilities to assess security risks and take appropriate actions.
  
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
