Job Description
As a Registered Nurse with industrial certification at ForseMark,
you will play a crucial
role in providing healthcare services and support within our industrial
or manufacturing setting.
This position involves ensuring the health, safety, and well-being
of our employees
through injury prevention, medical care, and health education programs.

Typical Duties
- Provide primary healthcare services to employees, including injury
assessment, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Conduct health screenings, assessments, and pre-employment medical
examinations to assess employee fitness for work.
- Respond to medical emergencies, accidents, and injuries in a prompt
and effective manner.
- Administer first aid, medications, and treatments according to established
protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
to coordinate employee care.
- Educate employees on health and safety practices, injury prevention,
and wellness promotion.
- Conduct health and safety training sessions, workshops, and seminars
for employees and management.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs, such as smoking cessation,
nutrition, and fitness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and confidentiality
of employee health information.
- Assess workplace hazards, ergonomic risks, and environmental factors
that may impact employee health.
- Participate in safety committees and collaborate with safety officers
to address health and safety concerns.
- Monitor and evaluate workplace health trends, injury rates, and absenteeism
to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent
recurrence of workplace injuries.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response
plans and procedures.
- Stay updated on occupational health regulations, standards, and best
practices.
- Provide guidance and support to employees returning to work after
illness, injury, or disability.
- Collaborate with human resources and management teams to ensure compliance
with health regulations.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; Registered Nurse (RN)
license with industrial certification.
- Proven experience as a registered nurse in an industrial, occupational
health, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, practices,
and standards.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills to evaluate and address
employee health needs.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with
employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical
equipment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
in occupational health.
- Understanding of workplace ergonomics, injury prevention, and health
promotion strategies.
- CPR certification and other relevant certifications in occupational
health and safety.
