Production Worker

Job Description As a Production Worker at ForseMark, you will be an essential part of our manufacturing team, performing various tasks in the production process to ensure the efficient and timely completion of products. This position involves tasks such as assembly, quality control, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Typical Duties

• Assemble components or parts according to specifications and production schedules.
• Operate machinery and equipment to fabricate, cut, shape, or form materials.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Inspect raw materials or components for defects, damage, or irregularities.
• Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams for assembly or production processes.
• Package finished products for shipping or distribution according to customer orders.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, quantities produced, and materials used.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
• Assist in inventory management by counting, labeling, or organizing materials and products.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions or production issues and report to supervisors.
• Follow all company policies, rules, and regulations related to production and workplace conduct.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate tasks and workflow efficiently.
• Participate in training sessions or workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in production processes.
• Contribute ideas or suggestions for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, or cost savings.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment as required for production tasks.
• Handle and transport materials, products, or components using manual or mechanical methods.
• Follow established procedures for waste disposal, recycling, or environmental management.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude in a fast-paced production environment.
  

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
• Basic understanding of production processes, machinery operation, and quality control principles.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, work in a team environment, and meet production targets.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in assembly, inspection, and measurement tasks.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a positive work culture.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE), and hazard recognition.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, or machinery with proper training.
