Job Description: Network and Computer Systems Administrators at ForseMark are responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of the company's computer networks. They will ensure network reliability, performance, and data integrity while implementing and managing IT infrastructure.

Typical Duties:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance, security, and availability.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues, including connectivity and performance problems.
• Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform system backups and recovery procedures.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with IT teams on network upgrades, projects, and new installations.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Stay updated on network technology trends, advancements, and best practices.
  

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network administration or IT support.
• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
• Proficiency in networking protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
