Materials Engineer

Job Description

Our Materials Engineer will develop, test, and analyze materials used in ForseMark's products.

The Materials Engineer will ensure that materials meet quality, performance, and safety
standards through research, experimentation, and collaboration with production teams.


Typical Duties:

  • Research and develop new materials or improve existing ones.
  • Test materials for strength, durability, and other properties.
  • Analyze data and create reports on material performance.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams on material selection.
  • Ensure materials comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot material-related issues in production processes.
  • Recommend materials for specific applications and environments.
  • Develop and maintain material specifications and documentation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in materials science and technology.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in materials engineering or research.
  • Knowledge of materials testing methods and equipment.
  • Familiarity with material characterization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and product development.
