First-Line Supervisors of Production and Operating Workers

Job Description ForseMark, LLC is seeking a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers to join our team in Norfolk, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced professional who can oversee and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Typical Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
  
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  
• Train new employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  
• Resolve work-related issues, conflicts, and grievances among team members.
  
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products.
  
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement production goals, budgets, and strategies.
  

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  
• Knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and production management software.
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed.
  
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one.
