First-Line Supervisors of Mechanics, Installers, and Repairers

Job Description


First-Line Supervisors oversee the work of mechanics, installers, and repairers at ForseMark.

They will assign tasks, monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and provide training and
guidance to maintain equipment and facilities.


Typical Duties

  • Assign work orders and schedules to maintenance staff.
  • Supervise and coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
  • Inspect equipment, machinery, and facilities for safety and functionality.
  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians on proper procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams on maintenance needs.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.

Experience and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance or related field.
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Familiarity with maintenance software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
