Typical Duties
- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone,
email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and update software applications.
- Set up and troubleshoot network connections and printers.
- Perform system maintenance, backups, and upgrades.
- Train users on software applications and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades and projects.
- Stay updated on new technologies and software releases.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and protocols.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in technical support or IT helpdesk role.
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Familiarity with networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified
Professional (MCP) are a plus.
